Hi! I’m a Chief Software Engineer at NI in Austin, TX.
I’ve been coding since I was 9 years old. I still remember making games in VB with embedded assembly—yes, I somehow figured how to do that! I wanted more bullets on screen and the MMX instructions on my Pentium II gave the extra oomph I needed. Coding is a thrill—everything about it!
Since then I’ve progressed through many languages and even worked professionally on a compiler. In the past few years, I’ve been helping other developers be more awesome by giving them great tools and making their workflows more efficient.
Besides coding, I’ve been getting into cooking. I love my Instant Pot! You’ll find a ton of recipes on this site.
